Preadipocytes from normal (non-diabetic) donors are available as a separate product. Pertinent additional donor information, including Body Mass Index (BMI), insulin dependence, and age of diagnosis may be available by contacting Scientific Support. Cryopreserved PoieticsDiseased Human Preadipocytes (D-HprAD) are guaranteed to contain ≥1 million cells per ampoule and test positive for adipogenic differentiation. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysis is provided for each cell lot purchased. Recommended Medium: PGM-2 Preadipocyte Growth Medium-2 BulletKitMedium (provides both a proliferation medium and a differentiation medium guaranteed to induce differentiation into mature, functionally active adipocytes; Each bottle of the PGM-2BulletKitMedium contains enough differentiation medium to fully differentiate 10 million preadipocytes [10 complete 96-well plates] into mature, functionally active adipocytes).
