RABBIT ANTI ASNS

Rabbit anti Human ASNS antibody recognizes ASNS, also known as TS11 cell cycle control protein, asparagine synthetase [glutamine-hydrolyzing] and glutamine-dependent asparagine synthetase.

The protein encoded by ASNS is involved in the synthesis of asparagine. ASNS complements a mutation in the temperature-sensitive hamster mutant ts11, which blocks progression through the G1 phase of the cell cycle at nonpermissive temperature. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for ASNS (provided by RefSeq, May 2010).

Rabbit anti Human ASNS detectects a band of 64 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
