RABBIT ANTI CD28

Rabbit anti Human CD28 antibody recognizes CD28, also known as CD28 antigen and T-cell-specific surface glycoprotein CD28.

The protein encoded by the CD28 gene is essential for T-cell proliferation and survival, cytokine production, and T-helper type-2 development. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for CD28 (provided by RefSeq, Jul 2011).

Rabbit anti Human T-cell-specific surface glycoprotein CD28 antibody detects a band of 52 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
