RABBIT ANTI POLD1

Rabbit anti Human POLD1 antibody recognizes POLD1, also known as CDC2 homolog, DNA polymerase delta catalytic subunit, DNA polymerase subunit delta p125, MDPL and catalytic subunit 125 kDa.

POLD1 encodes the 125 kDa catalytic subunit of DNA polymerase delta. DNA polymerase delta possesses both polymerase and 3' to 5' exonuclease activity and plays a critical role in DNA replication and repair. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for POLD1, and a pseudogene of POLD1 is located on the long arm of chromosome 6 (provided by RefSeq, Mar 2012).

Rabbit anti Human POLD1 antibody detects a band of 130 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
