The RAP1 gene encodes a protein that is part of a complex involved in telomere length regulation. Pseudogenes are present on chromosomes 5 and 22 (provided by RefSeq, Apr 2010).
Rabbit anti Human RAP1 antibody detects a band of 50 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
