RABBIT ANTI SEL1L

Rabbit anti Human SEL1L antibody recognizes SEL1L, also known as suppressor of lin 12 or suppressor of lin-12-like protein 1.

The protein encoded by SEL1L gene is part of a protein complex required for the retrotranslocation or dislocation of misfolded proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum lumen to the cytosol, where they are degraded by the proteasome in a ubiquitin-dependent manner. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for SEL1L (provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011).

Rabbit anti Human SEL1L antibody detects a band of 89 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
