The antibodies used for this AgriStrip assay were made against an isolate from pepper (Capsicum annum) (P. Roggero, personal communication) and specifically detect PMMoV. Sensitivity was comparable to the DAS-ELISA format and strongest coloration of testbands was obtained with a 1:60 to 1:500 (w/v) dilution of an extract of infected pepper leaves.
